This 2-hour training provides a broad overview of the federal contracting ecosystem’s complex history and inner workings. This training aims to arm participants with the foundational knowledge necessary to succeed in the industry. It provides a baseline for the foundational concepts of government contracting and how it fits into the federal acquisition and procurement lifecycle.

Part 1 includes:

  • History of Federal Government Contracting
  • Today’s current role of the national Government Contracting ecosystem
  • Breakdown of the federal acquisition and procurement lifecycle
  • Deep-dive into the types of roles and responsibilities typically found internally at a federal Government Contracting organization, primarily within the growth and business development vertical(s)

This training is for federal market entrants and professionals new to government contracting. The target audience includes junior business development, capture, and proposal personnel.
