The district is seeking participation from qualified and capable contractors with the interest, capability and capacity to perform the scope-of-work indicated, capable of mobilizing immediately after the receipt of Notice-to-Proceed.

This project is in the very early design stages and the schedule for contract advertisement will be determined at a later date.  The proposed project generally includes construction of a new outlet works at Arkabutla Dam and abandonment/closure of the existing outlet works once the new outlet is in operation.  Additional information regarding the current scope of work is included below.

An Industry Day for the Arkabutla Dam Modification Project at Arkabutla Lake Dam will be held on 15 September, 2025, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., CST. The Industry Day will be held virtually, and the presentation and a list of attendees will be posted after the conclusion of the virtual industry day. Contractors planning to attend the main presentation on September 15 are asked to complete the Pre-registration Form attached to this notice and return a copy to Lawren Boolos at lawren.boolos@usace.army.mil. Please submit the pre-registration form no later than September 8, 2025. A list of participants and interested firms will be posted to this notice following the Industry Day.
