The Department of the Interior (DOI) Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management is seeking information for market research purposes to determine the availability of qualified vendors to provide services in support of the Air Tactic Group Supervisor (ATGS) mission to fight wildland fire. This Special Notice is not a Solicitation but instead for the purpose of notifying industry of a proposed Industry Day, and, providing industry an opportunity to submit comments and propose improvements on the Government’s draft Specifications. The Government will not award a contract based on this Special Notice, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide or attendance at Industry Day.

Attendance is strictly voluntary, and any information given by the Government will be disseminated by Amendment to this Special Notice including Questions and Answers from the Industry Day. This Special Notice is for information and planning purposes only and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, obtain proposed improvements from industry, as well as promote future competition.
