In April of 2025, the Office of Management and Budget released two memorandums adopting AI to be more efficient, agile and cost-effective: M-25-21 Accelerating Federal Use of AI through Innovation, Governance and Public Trust and M-25-22, Driving Efficient Acquisition of Artificial Intelligence in Government. M-25-22 specifically provides federal agencies with guidance on how to acquire best-in-class AI quickly, competitively and responsibly.

This forum is designed to update the audience on the new OMB AI procurement policy, to share how government is addressing the Agentic AI responses to procurements, and to understand how the work of the acquisition staff is changing because of AI.

OBJECTIVES:

• Provide an update on OMB guidance and regulations to date
• Demonstrate to the acquisition community the efficiencies that can be achieved and how data can be used more effectively
• Hear what steps acquisition staff are taking to accommodate and address the new technology
• Hear examples of case studies that were successful
