The purpose of this effort is to refresh common spaces in DARPA’s headquarters to create a welcoming, museum-quality experience that highlights DARPA’s past, present, and culture.

The DARPA Lobby, DARPA Conference Center Lobby, and the lobby outside the Director’s Office are three primary touchpoints for visitors, partners, and internal stakeholders in the DARPA community. As such, these spaces provide a unique opportunity to showcase DARPA’s myriad accomplishments and our internal cultural practices that make DARPA the research powerhouse it is today. The redesigned spaces will serve as a physical expression of DARPA’s legacy – an environment that communicates DARPA’s history, celebrates its ongoing contributions to the warfighter and science, and inspires visitors to imagine what comes next.

This work will be conducted through a six-phase effort focused on Discovery & Research, Concept Development, Design Development, Construction Documentation Packet, Coordination & Approvals, and Installation.

The tentative date for the industry day is August 18, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

All parties interested in attending shall submit confirmation in accordance with the requirements in Section 4.1.1. Parties must confirm interest no later than 12:00 PM ET, on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

All vendors interested in participating in the DARPA Industry Day may send no more than two (2) representatives.

Due to time limitations, all Industry Day attendees must be citizens of the United States. Note that this does not prohibit foreign nationals from participating in the formal solicitation or performing any work resultant from the solicitation.
