The United States Department of War (DoW), used interchangeably with Department of Air Force (DAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Strategic Services Management Division (PZZ), is currently conducting market research to define the future acquisition strategy and to obtain capability statements from potential sources for Backshop maintenance services for the 96th Test Wing at Eglin AFB. Our goal is to gain insight into available market capabilities to enhance maintenance practices, reduce aircraft downtime, and use data-driven solutions to improve mission readiness.

Scope of Services: Perform comprehensive on- and off-equipment Backshop maintenance for F-15, F-16, F-35, UH1N, and EC-130J aircraft at Eglin AFB, FL. Provide all management, personnel, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform Backshop maintenance in support of the 96th Test Wing, 53rd Wing, and the Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC).

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Aircraft & Component Maintenance: Perform phase inspections; propulsion/engine maintenance (JEIM); and component repair for avionics, egress, fuels, structures, armament, and associated systems.
• Maintenance Operations: Provide 24/7 Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) functions; Plans, Scheduling, & Documentation (PS&D); and data management in Air Force Maintenance Information Systems (e.g., CEMS, ELMS, G081, IMDS, REMIS).
• Program Management: Execute a robust Quality Control Program (QCP) and a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environmental program. Manage all personnel and security requirements.
• Logistics & Supply: Manage the ordering of parts, repair cycle assets, and all Government Furnished Property (GFP), including tooling and equipment.
