The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) provides access to NASA’s small-, medium-, and intermediate-class launch capabilities and is administratively assigned as a subset of the Kennedy Space Center. NASA seeks to assess concepts for opportunities to expand payload processing infrastructure in support of the increasing demands of mega-constellation missions.

NASA seeks information from U.S. domestic entities, both government agencies and commercial companies, regarding the potential development of advanced payload processing facilities on approximately 15 acres located on the north end of Wallops Island as shown in Exhibit A of this RFI. This land is available for new development to enable highthroughput payload integration, testing, and processing capabilities specifically designed to support mega constellation operations. NASA will only consider uses aligned with Agency goals to expand orbital mission support while ensuring environmental protection and public safety.

An Industry Day event is scheduled for September 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Interested parties are required to register.
