The New England District will be hosting an in-person Industry Day for the West Point, Thayer Hall Demolition and construction project, scheduled for August 6, 2026. The event will include a project overview presentation, site visit, and will be followed by a limited number of one-on-one meetings to discuss project specifics with the Project Delivery Team.

This project will be executed as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2808a, Facility Construction or Repair.   This approach will involve the general contractor during the design phase to provide feedback and input to the designer of record and the government on constructability, operability, cost, and value engineering on the design being developed.
