The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will be hosting an Industry Day event on July 08, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Eastern Time) at ATF Headquarters, 99 New York Ave, NE, Washington, DC, 20226. This event provides mission-focused outreach for the commercial marketplace and seeking vendor participation that possess competencies in support of Firearms Operations Division and specifically the NIBIN program.

The purpose of the Industry Day event (under NAICS Code 541990 – All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services) is to provide an opportunity for vendors to share developments that could provide support to ATF’s ballistic imaging network known as NIBIN. ATF is searching for available technologies in the field of ballistic image comparison, and how the vendor would propose making its technology compatible with the current ATF holdings of ballistic images.
