This symposium and innovation summit is a premier forum for advancing acquisition research and innovation in support of the warfighter.

The event features completed research papers and presentations on the most urgent acquisition and modernization challenges—from managing risk and implementing regulatory reforms to accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies and strengthening the defense industrial base.  It brings together leaders and experts to explore innovations in logistics, program management, space systems, and test and evaluation, all aimed at delivering capabilities to the warfighter faster and more effectively. Research papers are evidence-based and conducted by academics, think tanks, and other U.S. institutions. Senior leaders from all services, academia and industry serve as chairs, panelists or keynote speakers, offering thoughts, critiques and comments on the research papers and organizational priorities.

Please note that this year’s event will be fully virtual, in order maximize participation by senior leadership, presenters, and attendees and and reduce the risk of last-minute disruption. 

In order to accommodate participants across regions and support senior-leader participation during regular business hours, all sessions on the program are in the Eastern Time Zone, giving us a 6:00 am start in California.
