Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) invites contractors to learn about and ask questions regarding a proposed project located at the Naval Weapons Station (NWS), Earle, NJ.

NAVFAC is preparing to advertise in early March 2026. Contractors with appropriate experience are encouraged to attend.

Project Description:

• Reactivation of freight rail serving NWS Earle. Work includes 29 miles of rail, including 10 miles of inactive rail along the Mainline, sifting of ballast, inspection and replacement of subgrade where necessary, 14 signalized and unsignalized grade crossings, and structural repairs and waterproofing at historic bridges (HB’s) along the Mainline.

Attendance Information and Security Requirements:

• There will be a limit to the number of personnel that can attend the presentation at Industry Day. We ask that you limit personnel to 5 per company due to meeting room limits.
• There will not be a site visit with the group.
