Purpose:

• The purpose of this event is to provide industry experts an opportunity to provide their input for PCS JTF consideration.
• All information should be focused on what the PCS JTF should consider for the improvement of the Defense Personal Property Program.

Mission Statement:

• DoD provides Service members, DoD civilians, and their families with efficient and secure moves, limited claims and complaints, and improved quality of service. The Relocation Enterprise operates on the policy established by OSD and military services. Through numerous program changes, the goal has been consistent: to make the PCS relocation process better for our Service members, DoD civilians, and their families.

Execution:

• The PCS JTF established a panel of subject matter experts to discuss the household goods relocation program.
• Problem statements have been developed to foster interactive dialogue between the registered industry participants and the JTF Panel. During these problem statement periods, the Government welcomes industry contributions to solve these problems.
• Please keep in mind we expect many of you to present a wide array of ideas and input, some of which may be divergent or directly contrary to another idea. As a result, while the PCS JTF will not be able to implement every discussion point as part of our strategic recommendations to the Secretary of Defense, the PCS JTF will consider everything you offer today in shaping our recommendations.
